Last month there were two important occurrences in my life which I feel the need to share.
First, I’ve managed to finish reading the whole Srimad Bhagavatam in Sanskrit, which took me 10 months (two months less than planned), with the result of a very good inner feeling, higher awareness, a sort of transformation. So if you’d want to try some longer vrata, you can try out this one. With a chapter a day it’ll take 335 days. Two transliterated verse-only versions:

Second, for several years I’ve been searching for, translating and reciting various stotras etc. to first-hand experience their effects. Possibly related to this, I found a very powerful Uddhava’s Radha stotra (vande radha padambhojam, Brahma vaivarta purana 4.92.59-88), at least in my case instantly subduing matter-conditioned mind’s nonsenses: http://brahma-vaivarta-puranam.blogspot.com/2007/08/part-xiii.html . It’s spoken by Sri Uddhava when he visited Vrindavan as per SBh 10.46-7. It nicely fits into vratas for the present Purusottama masa. If possible, share your experiences in the forum.
Hope this helps.
