I was interviewed for BBC Radio Ghana there, and sang kirtan to the people of that country. I also sang and spoke in a Krishna Janmasthami play specially recorded deep down in the sound studios of the building. Complete with exciting sound effects, I think they told me that the play went out to more than 100 million listeners around the world in three broadcasts.
I also spent a session training to do Thought for the Day there, but could not take up the invitation to record the 2 minute 43 second slots. The World Service moves across London to Broadcasting House, off Oxford Circus.
