Dhananjaya Pandit lived in Katwa, West Bengal, India during the sixteenth century. Gadadhara dasa Goswami, or Gadadhara dasa Pandit, was also a devotee of Nityananda Prabhu and dedicated preacher who went door to door, requesting everyone to chant the Hare Krishna mantra. He is credited in the Chaitanya Charitamrita with convincing even Muslim government officials to chant Hare Krishna.

Srinivas Acharya was a member of the party that first brought the books of the six Goswamis from Vrindavan to Bengal and Orissa. He converted King Birahambira to the Vaishnava religion and helped organized the first Gaura Purnima festival, celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Chaitanya, in Kheturi Gram.
