Attaining the fulfillment of his desires, Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa immersed himself in the milk ocean of the Gītā. He says he had not been able to lift the jewel of wonderful meanings out of the ocean, though he had understood them to some degree. In this way, the joyful son of Nanda, with great delight, shows His affection for Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa. With care, he had attended upon the commentary called Śrīmad Gītā Bhūṣaṇa. He asks the devotees, who are greedy for the sweetness of prema of Śrī Govinda and who are filled with mercy, to purify his work.

Viśvanātha Cakravartī says that his commentary on the last five verses of the Gītā, in which are found the essential purpose of the entire Gītā, was stolen by a rat, the carrier of Lord Gaṇeśa. Not wanting to interfere, he had not rewritten them. Thus his commentaries on the Gītā called Sārārtha Varṣiṇī have been completed. He prays let the shower of meanings of the essence of scripture, or the commentary that rains down the essential meaning, delight the devotee cātaka birds with its sweetness, and let the pleasure they derive from it light up his heart
