Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is situated in everyone’s heart, yet He manifests His transcendental form by His internal potency. This very Lord sat before Bhīṣma, who worshiped the Lord duly. The Lord is present everywhere. He is present always in Goloka and still He is present in everyone’s heart and even within the atom. When He manifests His eternal form in the material world, He does so by His internal potency, and not by material māyā. The phrase māyayopātta-vigraham can mean Kṛṣṇa who had a conflict (vigraha) with Yudhiṣṭhira by covering up his discrimination with His yoga-māyā.

Or it means Kṛṣṇa who brought Himself before the eyes of Bhīṣma (upātta) by His mercy (māyayā).
