Live Help Chat
At any time of day or night, there are dozens of people browsing Krishna.com because we are online 24/7 and serve every corner of the globe. Ideally our Live Help Chat service is available for questions every hour of the day because even if it’s the dead of night here, it is prime time in other parts of the world. And we want to make sure people with questions get answers. This task requires a familiarity with the web, Krishna.com’s site, basic to moderate education in the concepts of Krishna consciousness, and a general knowledge of ISKCON culture and history.

Live Help Chat volunteers log in to our chat system and remain online while doing other tasks on or near their computers. When a visitor has a question, volunteers are alerted and given the opportunity to text chat with the visitors to answer their questions. Questions vary from how to find a page on Krishna.com, to how to chant japa, to ‘Who is God?’. Not all questions are easily addressed in a simple live chat though, so that leads to our next volunteer position…
Email Volunteer
Live help chat can only cover so much, or is crowded with more visitors than volunteers, so some questions get sent to our email system to be answered. We can handle the simple questions of course, but often people are looking for deeper spiritual or philosophical conversations. Our email volunteers need a strong working experience with bhakti yoga, spiritual practices, and the Vedic scriptures in order to fully support and encourage these visitors. There is a somewhat more advanced questionnaire required for this position to establish your ability to offer this critical service.
Forum & Comments
You can also help guide and advise visitors by monitoring the forum and comments on Krishna.com. Often visitors post comments and questions here for quick advice from fellow visitors. Many of these questions can be answered with some basic info of the internet, general Krishna.com browsing suggestions, or by pointing the reader towards relevant articles on Krishna consciousness. And of course we can always use help engaging visitors and inspiring them to continue their spiritual journey towards bhakti yoga. This task requires periodic browsing of Krishna.com’s forum or comments to find conversations and comments that appear to be asking for help or interaction.
If you feel that you have the time and skills to guide visitors around kKrishna.com or encourage people in their spiritual journey, please contact us. Because of the nature of this volunteer work, there may be some evaluation necessary for skills and knowledge.
